I’ve had this Young Adult fiction short story collecion on my NetGalley TBR for a while and I finally read it! I am learning that I am not a huge fan of the short story format. I always want more and would rather spend my time reading a full-length novel.
However, this was still pretty good and had some authors that I am a fan of within the collection. The collection’s theme is focused on Jewish teens and I enjoyed learning about the culture. My favorite aspect about reading in general is learning about different cultures and religions.
Some of my favorite stories were:
Aftershocks – Rachel Lynn Solomon, Jewbecca – Lance Rubin, Some days you’re the sidekick; Somedays you’re the superhero – Katherine Locke,
I recommend checking out this well-done short story collection. It was a good read.
