Books that Should be Adapted into Netflix Shows/Movies #69

The Bear and the Nightingale (Winternight Trilogy #1) by Katherine Arden. I enjoyed reading this fairy tale style Fantasy series this year and I think it would make a great series!

Burn Our Bodies Down by Rory Power. This recent Horror release would make a great film, the twist was great and well-written. It was a s 5 star read for me that I got from NetGalley.

Wilder Girls by Rory Power. I feel that Wilder Girls would be a great film because of the strange plot and setting. It took me a while to get into the novel and pacing but might translate well to a film format.

The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker. I do not read much romance and rarely 5 star it but I adored The Simple Wild. I believe it would be a great film.

What You Wish For by Katherine Center. Yet again I surprised myself by loving another romance novel in 2020. I’m starting to really enjoy Center’s novels and feel they would all be great as films.

Admission by Julie Buxbaum. This upcoming YA novel is a fictionalized version of College Admissions Scandal of 2019. It was a interesting read and I think it would be a good movie.

Oona Out of Order by Margarita Montimore. This was such an unique novel and would make a great TV Show where we could explore even more of it!

The Shadows by Alex North. It is currently my favorite thriller of 2020. It was a well-done and shocking thriller that would make a great show/film.

The Power by Naomi Alderman. I feel that like The Handmaid’s Tale this would make a great TV Show. The unique plot could be taken in so many ways.

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (The Hunger Games #0.5) by Suzanne Collins. I have a feeling that this will end up as a film sooner or later and I think it would be interesting to see!
