Sunday Update! #3

It was another good week full of work and reading. I managed to finish both What You Wish For by Katherine Center and Darling Rose Gold by Stephanie Wrobel. I failed at last weeks poll because my mood reader ways took over this week! I was pulled toward Miracle Creek by Angie Kim as my backlist read.

My Week in Blogging:

I shared the two books I read in my It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? post! I loved What You Wish For by Katherine Center.

I came up with my own Top Ten Tuesday post where I talked about the books coming out in May I want to read!

I did the WWW Wednesday post, shared what I’m reading, what I read and what I wanted to read.

I shared my Can’t-Wait Wednesday #56, Rage and Ruin (The Harbinger #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout.

I reviewed, What You Wish For by Katherine Center, an ARC from July 2020.

I shared some of my favorite new releases in my Friday Meme post!

My last post of the week was my Stacking the Shelves post.

My Current Read:

Miracle Creek by Angie Kim. Thriller.

My Thoughts:

I picked up my neglected netgalley ARC of Miracle Creek as both my netgalley and backlist read this week! I’m about half way through the earc and enjoying it so far. I’m intrigued and can’t wait to find out what happens next in this court room thriller. The writing is compelling and the characters are well-written. I did not care for some of the sexual content in one of the character’s point of views but hopefully it won’t be too much for me going forward.

Poll Time!!

Which of these three should I read next?

2020 Read:

If It Bleeds by Stephen King

Woven in Moonlight by Isabel Ibañez

Oona Out of Order by Margarita Montimore

Five great Goodreads giveaways from the week:

If It Bleeds by Stephen King

The Honey-Don’t List by Christina Lauren

What You Wish For by Katherine Center

The Half Sister by Sandie Jones

Take a Hint, Dani Brown (The Brown Sisters, #2) by Talia Hibbert

I'm person who loves reviewing, reading, talking about, and just being around books!

  1. My mood reading made me fail my readathon last week, instead of the books I wanted to read, I read every other book NOT on my readathon list – lol.
What did you think about What You Wish For and Darling Rose Gold. I read them both a couple weeks ago, and I enjoyed them both, but didn’t LOVE LOVE them.

    1. Yeah sometimes mood reading sucks, I can never do readathons anymore XD I did find a way to read lower my tbr, I switch between 2020 reads, netgalley, and old titles on my shelf but don’t pick the book until right before I read it. It helps. I loved What You Wish For, flew through even in my current reading slump. Rose Gold was good but I didn’t love love it either
